Industry Kids is the company that truly helps brands and people elevate to their true potential. Industry Kids has annual events across the United States that promote the power of networking. Industry Kids recently had their first ever Beauty, Bloggers, and Books event in New York City on August 31st.
Beauty, Bloggers, and Books was a day of networking, motivation, panels, and honoring the top innovators in the industry. What I love about Industry Kids is that their events showcase kid bosses in the industry. The kid bosses that were featured included Misa, Skylah, Jac, and Fatoumata. The kid moguls were featured at Beauty, Bloggers, and Books on the Kid Bosses panel. During this panel. Ameenha Lee was the moderator. Ameenha Lee asked the panelists how they stay motivated at such a young age. The overall message of this panel was to surround yourself with friends and family that will constantly support you.
The official sponsor of Beauty, Bloggers, and Books was Claire’s. Claire’s is the top global brand for your go to accessories and jewelry. I have been in love with Claire’s ever since I was a baby, not joking at all. Claire’s is the brand to shop when you need accessories for special occasions, ear piercings, and a stylish add on for your outfit. Claire’s gifted the guests and the kid moguls awesome gifts for Beauty, Bloggers, and Books. Did you know that Claire’s has over 3,000 stores across the United States?
The last panel of the day included The Adult Innovator panel. This panel include Shauna, Shaina, Melissa, and Stephanie. These women are truly innovators in the industry. These boss women are innovators in the fashion, beauty, and media industry. Even though I loved the kid boss panel, this panel was my absolute favorite. The panelists from the second panel talked about their childhood. Shauna, the CEO of Fresh Kid Nation, said the most powerful phrase of the evening. She said that she is carrying her families legacy and she is living up to what her family instilled in her as a child.
The last hour of Beauty, Bloggers, and Books was a networking hour. All of the guests and panelists were able to network with each other and help each other grow.
