Doja Cat was just at the peak of her career when fans resurfaced videos and tweets of her allegedly being racist.
The 24 year old artist could not celebrate her song “Say So”, featuring Nicki Minaj, hitting number one on the charts this past weekend due to her being “cancelled.” The hashtag #DojaCatIsOverParty was trending on Twitter for 72 hours.
Twitter users accused Doja Cat of being racist after videos of her surfaced saying the N word around white people.
People also found tweets of Doja Cat, that she allegedly posted, tweeting about “being white makes soo much more sense.”
Doja Cat posted an apology letter on her Instagram three days after the incident. Her excuse for being in public chat rooms was, ” I’ve used public chat rooms to socialize since I was a child. I shouldn’t have been on some of those chat room sites.”

The music artist went live on Instagram to further discuss the situation. She said that most of the tweets were fake, and her dating white men does not make her racist.
