Meek Mill has done a lot of controversial things in the media, but it looks like Vanessa Bryant was not here for it.
“Don’t Worry( RIP Kobe)” is an unreleased project featuring Lil Baby and Meek Mill. In this song, Meek Mill name drops Kobe Bryant, and he received a lot of backlash on social media.
“Yeah, and if I ever lack, I’m goin’ out with my chopper, it be another Kobe.”
In early 2020, Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna, and seven other passengers were killed in a helicopter crash. This helicopter crash changed the world completely, and it many Kobe Bryant fans were devastated by the news.
After seeing Meek Mill’s lyrics in the “Don’t Worry(RIP Kobe)” song, Vanessa Bryant decided to call out the rapper on Instagram.
“Dear @meekmill, I find this line to be extremely insensitive and disrespectful. Period. I am not familiar with any of your music, but I believe you can do better than this. If you are a fan, fine, there’s a better way to show your admiration for my husband. This lacks respect and tact.”
Allegedly, Meek Mill responded back to Vanessa Bryant on Twitter. The Philadelphia rapper tweeted, “I’m going back savage in this sh*t…f#%k ya feelings!”
