Thanks to season two, many Euphoria viewers are upset that Jules is cheating on Rue with Elliot. The situation is messed up due to the fact that Jules didn’t even like Elliot at first. When she first met the new character on the hit HBO show, she became jealous and enraged.Even though Rue pretended to not know him, Jules jealousy turned into lust. Instead of Jules being a loving partner to Rue, she turns her back on her girlfriend during the worst times. Whenever the three “friends” are hanging out, we see Jules and Elliot sneaking kisses like Romeo and Juliet.
I think the show Cheaters needs to make an appearance in Euphoria.
Since the beginning of me starting Euphoria, I have always said that Jules is Rue’s drug. Jules serves as a significant character, but her actions make viewers start to despise her. Who gets mad at their girlfriend drinking alcohol when you basically hand it to her? Who decides to cheat on their girlfriend with their partner’s close friend? Jules claims to love Rue, but her actions prove other wise.
Rue might be a drug addict, but she tends to be correct with her words. Jules infidelity is eating her up inside, so she decided to tell Rue’s mother about her drug problem. Was this needed? Yes. On the other hand, would Jules commit the same action in season one?
Jules is a character who was very honest in season one, and she was not a cheater. We see in the living room that Jules and Elliot are sitting looking guilty #asf. Jules tells Rue that she flushed the pills(which will have a major consequence later on). Euphoria viewers obviously know that Jules found out about Rue’s drug addiction from Elliot. While they are about to make love, behind Rue’s back, Elliot tells Jules about Rue.
You might wonder, what does this situation have to do with me? The relationship between these three characters reveals a lot. First, you can love someone with all of your heart, and they will still stab you in the back. Even during Rue’s lowest moments, she has loved Jules with all of her heart. When she started to withdraw from drugs, in season one, we saw that Jules was at her lowest. Rue decided to leave Jules at the train station, and this causes her to rely on drugs yet again.
Second, Elliot and Jules are horrible friends to Rue. How can you look at your best friend everyday knowing that your sleeping with each other? Elliot and Jules tell the truth to masquerade the feeling of guilt. Elliot feels guilty about telling Jules about Rue not being sober. Jules feels guilty about sleeping with Elliot.
Elliot and Jules should show you to never trust your friends even if you love them.
