There is no way to define today’s culture, but I can say that there are innovators leading the culture. With music, fashion, and journalism, there are always innovators leading their own pack. In this article, I focus on innovators in the entertainment industry who make today’s culture theirs.

Nija Charles is one of the most in demand songwriters in the music industry. While dominating the Hip-Hop, R&B, and Pop charts, Charles has accomplished so much at a young age. The New Jersey native has cowritten hits for Ariana Grande, Beyonce, Cardi B, Meg Thee Stallion, and Summer Walker.

Shari B has proved to be a cultural pioneer in the music industry before the era of today’s music. At the age of 16 years old, Shari B started interning at Roc-A-Fella Records. Shari B represents the power and brilliance of black executives that inspires many women.
Shari B has taken her craft at Def Jam, Atlantic Records, and Warner Bro’s. Even though Bryant is the co-president of Roc Nation, she is one of the few people who mixed old school with the new school. Today’s music industry is 100% digital, and Shari Bryant proves there is no limit for success.
4. Young Lord
Jabari Shelton, known as Young Lord, uses his creativity to make his own rules in fashion and music. Young Lord is the founder and designer of Vlone. Jabari Shelton is one of the co-founders, alongside ASAP Yams, of the ASAP Mob. ASAP Mob is a hiphop collection formed in the roots of Harlem.
