Tips for Parents
Parents should always be aware of what their children are doing on social media. I would advise for parents to check and see what their child is posting on social media at all times. What you post on social media never goes away. I would advise for parents to talk to their children everyday as well. Many young peers feel like they can not open up to their parents. Also, I would advise for parents to see who their child is hanging out with. Unless parents know that their child has a strong mindset, they would wound up to be a follower.
Tips for Young Peers
If you ever feel that suicide is your only way out, always know that your life is precious. If you are absolutely going through anything, talk to someone you trust. This can include your parents, teachers, friends, grandparents, and more. If you are getting cyber bullied, take a social media detox. You can always report bullying activity to every social media platform there is. This includes Instagram, Snapchat, and Facebook. Do not ever let anyone think that your life isn’t precious.
